business. The Performance Diagnostic Engineer will use a diagnostic tool to help diagnose application performance issues. This person will be responsible for working with existing application development teams to identify, diagnose, and report on
performance issues within the application landscape. Successful applicants will be assigned to client facing roles, across a wide variety of industry sectors (including financial services, high-technology and communications, utilities, government and
retail clients). They could be leading small Accenture teams, or a mix of client and Accenture professionals. They will therefore need good people management skills, to complement your technical and delivery experience Key Responsibilities include:
Successful candidates will possess a solid grasp and understanding of fundamental stages within the delivery lifecycle, in particular specialising within client facing environments or alternatively a familiarity of in-house development centres. We are
seeking strong Performance Diagnostic Engineers with the capability to apply technical intellect and consulting experience in one or more of the following areas: - Application of a rigorous and structured approach across areas of; performance
diagnostics, performance testing, capacity planning, performance architecture design, performance monitoring, or code profiling - Planning and managing one of the following teams (dependent on grade) performance diagnostic, performance testing,
performance monitoring or application development team - Working within a structured environment, including the use of structured methods and approaches (e.g. PRINCE2, CMM) and modern development tools - Your experiences will include IT system deliveries
for a broad range of client Qualifications - Previous relevant experience working within a consulting environment - Experience with Capacity estimating, modelling, or planning - Experience with application and architecture code profiling - Experience with
infrastructure and application performance tuning - Experience with Web-architectures design and development (Java/J2EE, .NET, SOA, web-services)- - Experience with any of the following diagnostics tools: Wily/Computer Associates Introscope, Mercury
Diagnostics, or Quest Performasure. - Candidates will posses a good quantitative or numerical degree or have commensurate work experience - All candidates must be fully mobile (i.e. prepared to work away from home Monday to Friday as required)
Professional Skill Requirements: - Proven success in contributing to a team-orientated environment - Proven abilities to quickly analyse and understand application architectures and deployment infrastructures. - Proven abilities to distil volumes of
data, analyse performance results, and formulate diagnostic strategies. - Proven abilities to clearly characterise system performance to stakeholders. - Proven abilities to work creatively and analytical in a problem-solving environment - Previous
relevant experience working with a consulting environment using PMO methodologies and systems - Demonstrate experience on projects across a variety of industry sectors - Desire to work in a information systems environment - Excellent Leadership,
