We are looking for applicants with a consulting background in the utilities industry. As well as experienced consultants we're looking for exceptional applicants from an End User Background where the candidate has played a significant role as part of a Functional / Business process team (e.g. Business Process Expert) in an SAP Utilities Project. The candidates successfully recruited this role will be able to: Work as part of a project team delivering high quality solutions within the Utilities Industry sector. Configure SAP on a Utility project. Understand Utilities Business Processes and be recognised as functionally excellent by a utility client. Consult on business issues and the SAP Industry Solution for Utilities (IS-U) set to deliver lasting value to clients as part of IBM engagements Work with minimal supervision to produce consulting work products in more than one phase of an SAP IS-U project. Develop and sustain positive working relationships with client management and staff during engagements Apply IBM and Industry standard methods and tools as appropriate to the clients needs. Demonstrate advanced core consulting skills, SAP IS-U expertise and Utility industry knowledge to support delivery to clients Coach other consulting and delivery staff contributing to their professional development The applicant should be an experienced SAP consultant who has significant experience of the SAP Industry solution for Utilities (IS-U) and the Utility industry. Knowledge of UK specific Utility regulatory requirements is desirable. Knowledge of integration with other modules of SAP is desirable. We are also interested in exceptional applicants who have been working in an SAP project delivery capacity from a utility end user community. End User Applicants should have worked in an SAP IS-U Project team in a significant Functional / Process role and therefore have exposure to a structured project environment. They should also have experience in a variety of roles in a utility business. The successful candidate will have experience of: Working on a SAP Utility project as part of the delivery team. At least one end to end SAP project life cycle and a working knowledge of an accelerated SAP implementation methodology (e.g. ASAP). The successful candidates are likely to: Be EU citizen or possess a valid work permit to the UK (without travel/security restrictions). Possess a degree or have the relevant experience. Have excellent communication and negotiating skills. Have a thorough knowledge and first hand experience of working in a Utility business. Demonstrate man management and an ability to conduct and lead consultancy assignments. Have experience of working in different organizations and be able to integrate successfully into and negotiate their way around differing cultures. Be SAP trained in R/3 either through formal training or by experience.
