The successful candidates will be able to: Play leading roles on consulting teams working on client delivery projects, designing and implementing SAP-based technical solutions Propose innovative SAP technical solutions based on the NetWeaver product stack to satisfy business requirements Demonstrate a clear understanding of SOA strategies and guide clients and project teams on roadmaps and approaches to implementing SOA-based solutions Take overall responsibility for designing and implementing integrated cross-platform solutions incorporating a range of SAP and non-SAP technologies Demonstrate strong credibility with clients and colleagues, establish strong working relationships with senior client staff, and become established as a trusted adviser at an enterprise architecture level Play significant roles in IBM¿s business development and proposal activities as well as client projects Produce work of a high quality standard Operate under pressure and deliver to agreed milestones Work independently keeping leadership appraised of status in a timely manner raising issues and risks when required Resolve issues and solve problems Communicate effectively in English, verbally, through presentations and in written documents Candidates should be experienced SAP practitioners with in-depth knowledge of several of the following areas: SAP NetWeaver products: WAS; PI; Portal; BI; MDM and Mobile Infrastructure Infrastructure design for SAP, to provide highly performant, highly available and flexible solutions Integration of SAP with non-SAP technologies, including for example end-to-end security solutions based on Tivoli or applications integration using WebSphere Business Process Modelling and development of Composite Business Services SOA strategy and direction Ideally experience will have been gained in a consulting role on one or more implementation projects. Candidates must have experience of working in client-facing environments, or have the knowledge and interpersonal skills to demonstrate potential to do so.
