Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is part of Global Business Services within IBM. The CRM Practice goal is to form long-term, benefit-driven relationships with our clients. Prime focuses are on having a trusted Business Advisor relationship with our clients and the shaping, design and delivery of medium to large scale, complex, integrated Customer Management Business and IT Solutions with associated Transformation activities. You will have strong skills and experience in Operational Data within Financial Services. Ideally, you will be a recognised expert in your technical field with experience in delivery within a blue chip environment working in the CRM area. Experience of working to a structured method and preferably have experience of a wide variety of development methods (DSDM, RAD, OO development) and their appropriate use As a Data Governance Architect you will be responsible for: - Planning, design and implementation of the overall data architecture, including overseeing all architectural areas of client projects; - Defining the data migration strategy and design principles; - Planning, design and implementation of complex Service Oriented Architectures around Warehouses, Syndicated, Customer and Product Data; - Oversee the implementation, configuration and testing of the data architecture; - Develop thought leadership, advice and guidance on the approach to the design of Customer and Product Master Data Architectures; - Providing exemplars of best practice and coaching to more junior technical specialists and client staff. In order to deliver you will have most of the following attributes (varying based on your background and experience): - Detailed knowledge of the latest version of a leading CRM package (i.e. Siebel / Chordiant / SAP CRM / Peoplesoft); - Practical experience of application integration using a leading both batch and EAI products (i.e. Websphere / TIBCO / eGate). You should be able to convincingly explain how migrations from non heterogeneous environments may be supported by the data architecture; - Demonstrated full lifecycle experience of scoping, analysing, planning, designing, implementing, testing and releasing architectures; - Knowledge of alternative processing and data distribution architectures, must demonstrate trade-offs associated with each approach; - Knowledge of software application architecture; - Familiarity of component and layer architecture models; - Knowledge of logical data modelling and physical database design.
