Critical to this role are decisions on assets, strategic and tactical investments, and resource allocation. They help senior management put IBM's assets to use where there are growth opportunities and make the decisions where there are not. Specific Industry Experience: At least several years experience in one or more of the following FS industry sectors: Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Insurance. This will have typically been gained through at least one full lifecycle systems implementation in the sector. Specific Technical Experience: Experience of implementing relevant application packages and associated integration and reporting tools. This experience would most likely be in application and process design or configuration. Ideal candidates would have an understanding of specific industry related solutions such as Bank reporting and analysis modules (in particular SAP Bank Analyser or PeopleSoft EPM), consolidation systems (for example SAP SEM-BCS, Hyperion or Cartesis), or insurance claims and collection modules, as well as experience of the more 'traditional' ERP General Ledger solutions in FS (SAP FI-CO, Oracle, PeopleSoft GLs) Specific Project Experience: Detailed project implementation experience is required of at least one full lifecycle from Analysis to Implementation in a Financial Services company. The experience may have been obtained on multiple projects. Team members, team leaders and project managers are all of interest.
