Supply Chain Management Consultant - Product Lifecyle Management Job ID: GBS-0112322 Job type: Full-time Regular Work country: United Kingdom Work city: London Job role: General Other Consultant Travel: Up to 75%; travelling 5 days a week, home on weekends Job role skillset: General Business unit: AS Ref: Banking - 003 Job Description - Work within the SCM practice focusing on delivering our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) technology solutions to clients - Focus in Aero & Defence and automotive sectors - Provide subject matter expertise in improvement of new Dassault Systems CAD, CAM, CAE and PDM technology domains - One of the roles would be all of the above plus established project management experience of large-scale PLM technology deployment Desired Candidate Experience - Demonstrate 5000+ hours user / client experience in the use of Dassault Systemes PLM technology (or other leading PLM ISV experience e.g. UGS / Siemens, PTC) - experience from a best practice methodology development perspective focused on specifc engineering domains within Aero & Defence or automotive (e.g. body in white, trim, electrical) - IT infrastructure specialist - thorough understanding of core IT systems support required for the proficient function of PLM technology and awareness of IBM's SOA offering would be advantageous. - Demonstrate good understanding of the key issues facing target sectors with respect to vehicle / aircraft programme development. - Mechanical engineer to BSc standard.
