We are now looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of Broadcast Technology solutions to business problems. This role will be focused on delivering IT systems and services across Sky's operational departments and will work with the business units to develop the Technology strategy and define the detailed requirements for Technology solutions. Key responsibilities will include; -To manage the end to end systems lifecycle and delivery of single or multiple IT projects. - To manage the designated project & project team through all relevant stages of the systems lifecycle from project initiation, software development through to project closure and review. - To ensure a detailed project plan is developed and maintained, identifying key milestones, tasks, priorities, dependencies and responsibilities. - To apply appropriate formal project management methods to the full systems lifecycle including, business and benefits case management, stakeholder management, risk and issue management, scope control, and project monitoring. - To work closely with relevant Project Managers to drive the process forward, aid communication and on an interactive basis, to ensure systems are delivered that anticipate and satisfy business needs. Suitable candidates will possess; - Significant project management experience on large scale or complex IT projects (typically £1m plus) - Proven previous experience in Stakeholder management and leading teams in a matrix environment - Relevant experience in a fast paced industry where IT/Technology operates as a strategic partner - Excellent problem solving expertise gained ideally in the Broadcast arena or other fast moving environment - The ability to deliver clear, well-organised presentations to Senior Management and up to Executive Board level. - Expertise in working in a dynamic and relatively unstructured environment and being involved throughout the entire project life cycle to ensure successful delivery. - A style of working which is self motivated, results orientated, resilient and able to work well under pressure You will play a pivotal role not only ensuring that Sky leverages technology to achieve competitive advantage, contributing to the evolution of Sky's technology landscape - delivering the present, creating the future. The roles will be based in Osterley (West London) however some travel to other Sky sites may be required.
