Graduate and Placement Opportunities with CLS Location: London Job Type: Contract Salary: Competitive with excellent benefits About Us: CLS (Continuous Linked Settlement) is a means of settling foreign exchange transactions finally and irrevocably. Our Company represents the largest cash settlement utility in the world. Our system eliminates settlement risk, improves liquidity management, reduces operational banking costs and improves operational efficiency and effectiveness. We offer both 12 month industrial placements, and permanent graduate entry level roles within our business. We are currently looking to fill four 12-month industrial placements working within our IT Service Delivery teams to start soonest: 1. Junior IT Service Desk Analyst - first line support in Helpdesk environment (needs demonstrable working experience of Windows NT and MS Office based applications, and should be studying for a Computer Science degree or other IT discipline) 2. IT Administration Assistant - supporting and assisting the IT Service department to achieve their business objectives (needs demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint) to an advanced level) 3. Junior Technical Administrator - performing a variety of routine, ad-hoc and project focused tasks (needs to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Windows NT/2000/XP and Microsoft Office, and should be studying for a business focused computer-related degree) 4. Junior Technical Services Analyst - operate, manage and provide day-to-day desktop support for all CLS Services staff in all locations (needs to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Windows 2000 / XP and Microsoft Office based applications, and should be studying for a Computer Science degree or other IT discipline) For our permanent graduate entry roles, you are likely be responsible for providing a foundation development, analysis and testing capability for CLS Bank Systems concentrating on new system development, creation of operational reports, performing data warehouse analysis and testing of internal system changes. In these roles, we are really looking for individuals who have a degree in an IT (computer science or software engineering), mathematical, or business-related subject and with an interest in the financial markets, specifically related to our business.
