Infrastructure & Hosting Group (ISP) Within our Infrastructure and Hosting group we are looking for Systems Engineers, Senior Systems Engineers, Lead Systems Engineers, and Systems Architects. Working as part of a vibrant division, these varied roles are based on the design, development, implementation, management and support of the technical infrastructure (MS Windows 2000 / 2003 / Cisco / Linux) that is pivotal in providing millions of Education sector users with mission-critical hosted applications. We are currently delivering 24x7 hosted services to 8000+ customer networks (1000+ servers / 20 UK data centres), and this dynamic environment is constantly growing and evolving as customers demand more advanced solutions. This therefore represents a fantastic opportunity for experienced Systems Engineer to gain exposure to a vast array of technologies within an enterprise level environment, and offers considerable training and development opportunities, (including scope develop into the technical lead for large-scale, strategic infrastructure bids), and the opportunity to gain certifications such as the MCSE / MCTS / MCITP / CCNA / CCNP / CCIE, whilst working at the cutting edge of technology in a hugely rewarding role. Network Development Group Within our Network Development Group, we are looking for Senior Systems Engineers, Lead Systems Engineers and Systems Architects. The roles will involve working with the latest technologies, including Active Directory, Moss 2007, OCS 2007 and Exchange 2007 (Windows 2008 within the next few months!) and you will be responsible for designing network infrastructures and developing network management products and solutions. These projects include exciting enterprise domains encompassing multi-site, Active Directory solutions and networks for upwards of 1.5 million users. You will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead on projects, which could include taking responsibility for the design of the solution, and subsequent project management and mentoring of a team of engineers to take the project through to conclusion. IS Development Due to the creation of a new infrastructure team within our IS division, we are currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to help maintain and support the corporate environment and customer facing systems hosted by the division. As part of this team, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and monitoring a range of server, network and other IT infrastructure, taking ownership of all phases of projects from design through to post implementation support. Increased demand from the business for innovative solutions and a developing Information Systems department means that we are also looking for Network Design Engineers. The roles will involve taking ownership of all phases of projects from design through to post implementation support, with the responsibility of designing and developing RM's LAN and WAN infrastructure. The roles offer the opportunity to work on some challenging projects, for example, upgrading and developing the company storage systems, virtualisation, and Firewall systems.
