Feeds Analyst – Real Time Exchange – Data Feed Development and Support – Central London Location: Central London, City, South East UK Salary: Negotiable + Bens Type: Permanent The Company Bloomberg is the leading global provider of data, news and analytics. The Role To work with the programming and data teams to develop, support and maintain BPipe - Bloomberg's low-latency consolidated data feed. The successful applicant's day-to-day responsibilities will cover working on exchange-driven changes, new content, investigating client data queries, QA and testing. The successful candidate will have effective written and verbal communications. Some basic knowledge of Unix or programming would be an asset, and knowledge of the financial markets is a pre-requisite - Knowledge/experience of real-time feeds (exchange feeds, consolidated vendor feeds, etc) - Good problem -solving skills and the ability to learn quickly - Understanding of the issues clients face when dealing with real time market data and with feed handler development - Experience with organized testing practices - The minimum education level for this role is to Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Feeds Analyst – Real Time Exchange – Data Feed Development and Support – Central London Benefits: Healthcare / Dental and Travel insurance including discounted Gym for employee + dependants!
