University of Kent Information Services E-Learning Technical Developer Ref: OTR0026 £29,138 - £33,780 pa On-going and full-time The University of Kent wishes to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic applications developer to be responsible
for the technical development and support of the University’s e-learning environment. The post holder will be in the Technical Services section of the Information Services department but will work very closely with staff in the Unit for the Enhancement
of Learning and Teaching (UELT) in supporting the implementation of the University e-Learning strategy. The University is embarking on a major project to develop a new virtual learning environment (VLE) based on Moodle and migrate all on-line courses and
content from its current VLE. The post holder will have a significant role in the deployment and development of this large-scale Moodle deployment. Applicants must have experience of working in a PHP development role with knowledge of database
