Service Management Coordinator

My client is currently searching for a Service Management Coordinator to be based in London with some travel to Norway. The role of the Coordinator will be to: * Develop and implement best practise in use of Service Management across both services this in close cooperation with Process managers (Incident manager, Problem manager, Change and Configuration manager, Release manager, Availability manager, Capacity manager) * Document procedures for both services to ensure SOX compliance. * Act as sector representative in the network "Service Management Operation", covering Incident, Availability, Problem, Availability (Operational) * Act as sector representative in the network "Service Management Control", covering Change, Release, Configuration, Capacity (Planning) * Run a network for Task Managers and Task Owners. This network also has an HR and financial aspect that need to be discussed. * Prepare and run monthly operational meetings for our services, covering incident and problem handling. * Give general Service Management support to Task Owners and plan/provide training to team members. * Maintain resource overview and produce monthly recourse forecasts. This in close cooperation with Task Owners and Project Managers. Skills required: * Good knowledge of Service Management (ITIL) * Experience from IT Operation * Educated in IT Personal capabilities: * Structured and well organised * Good communication skills * A team player * Speak and write English fluently * Is comfortable working across organisational and geographical borders * Be able to handle high work load in periods * Prepared to spend time learning the business This is a great opportunity to be able to join a long term project (estimated end in 31/12/2010) with real potential to gain experience and valuable knowledge.
