The Service is currently undertaking a programme of electronic service delivery improvements incorporating database and web development projects leading to the introduction of an EDMS system, which in turn will lead to improved services for the public. The Application Systems Administrator will play a key role in the management and improvement of the current Planning Service's software and also the implementation of a DIP (Document Image Processing) application. Qualified to graduate or minimum BTEC/NVQ level 3 in Business/Finance/Administration or IT (or equivalent), you should be highly motivated and committed and able to demonstrate relevant experience in supporting complex IT systems with knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office products and other software in an effective and efficient way.
