Snr Network Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer - London - 40k

Senior Network Engineer / Senior Infrastructure Engineer required by an organisation with headquarters London. The successful applicant will report to the IT Director whilst managing an IT Infrastructure across 3 sites in the UK (15+ servers). Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following essential technical skills: Windows 2003 server (MCSE preferred - not essential), expertise with Active Directory (to include group policy etc.), DNS / DHCP, Exchange 2003, MS SQL server (installation, troubleshooting etc.), Routers / Switches (3Com preferred - not essential) and SAN knowledge (preferably NetApps). Any experience with the following will be a bonus: Cisco Pix, Riverbed WAN, MPLS, Windows Scripting, Symantec Enterprise Vault, Sharepoint Intranet and VmWare. Various forthcoming and recent projects will allow applicants to gain experience with the bonus skills if experience lacking. Applicants will ideally be educated to degree level (not essential) and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Whilst not officially a team leading position the individual will have responsibility for mentoring 3 junior members of the team. This position will suit an applicant that has a proven background delivering Infrastructure support across a MS server environment.
