Environment Engineer

Environment Engineer This role sits within a secure site and will be to work on Defence related projects; therefore candidates must be willing and eligible to undergo Defence Vetting Agency Security Clearance. The role will report to the CSG Environment Manager delivering Rig Support to the account. The role involves incident resolution on development, test and reference rigs on Hook campus, including health checks, rebuilds, software and hardware upgrades and relocations. Other activities would include booking and scheduling rig usage, ensuring all Government Furnished Equipment remains traceable and ensuring currency on build standards and patch levels to ensure systems remain representative of those deployed. Qualifications Essential Skills and experience: Windows NT, Windows XP, Norton Ghost, Unix (Solaris). Ability to interact confidently with project managers, senior technical specialists, ability to cope with complexity and pressure of demand from multiple project customers, flexible i.e. prepared to occasionally work evenings and weekends, self motivated, team player, good communicator, process orientated individual required. ITIL foundation knowledge minimum.
