Cognos Applications Team Leader - £25,000 - £50,000 – West Midlands

Global Engineering Company based in West Midlands is looking for an Applications Team Leader. You will need to have good work management skills as you will be issuing work out to the team on a daily basis and making sure the work is getting done. Someone with man management experience would be beneficial but the main background required is Cognos, SQL and ERP systems local applications support experience. As you will be working for an Engineering company you will get the added benefit of finishing work on a Friday at 1pm every week. As the company has a Global presence career progression is not only based in the UK but across Europe as well. Although this is titled as a Team Leader position the company work within a very strong team environment, you will be responsible for getting the work done rather than the man management of individuals, this is why no management experience is required but would be advantageous.The company has a fantastic family feel and all the IT teams work well with each other, there is a good social aspect with drinks in the week and some Friday afternoons.
