Trader / Market Risk Analyst sought – Energy Major

You will be sitting on the market risk controlling team responsible for the commercial trading analysis for international oil trading strategies. Your role will involve management of daily reports to support functions such as VAR, market structure, deal economics, price exposure, hedge requirements and ad hoc management needs. You will be reporting to the deals desk manager. This is unique opportunity as the successful candidate will be exposed to every facet of physical oil trading and will gain the required knowledge to successfully advance to higher levels of responsibility within the organisation. We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following: - A knowledge of physical / derivative oil markets, - An in depth knowledge of physical oil logistics and deal economics, - Exposure to position, commercial and PnL reporting, - Advanced Excel, - And strong work ethic and organisational skills.
