Business Analyst - (Prince2, Business Analyst) - South East

The support and development of our systems are vital to achieve our objectives and to keep Britain running. We are looking for experienced Business Analysts to liaise with business customers and within IS to support the formulation of ideas for business process changes and IS solutions. As a Business Analyst at National Grid you will be responsible for developing these ideas into robust business cases and user requirements in order to achieve successful initiation of projects. You will influence business decisions regarding IS requirements to ensure these align with National Grid’s strategy. This will not only draw on your analytical skills but your verbal and written communication skills also. You will need to be an able communicator and experience within the utilities or IT industry is preferable. You will have the ability to achieve buy in from key stakeholders within National Grid to ensure your project has the best chance for success. As you’ll be working on projects at varying stages, it’s essential you have a grasp of the project lifecycle that far exceeds its technical aspects, and as you may be working on several projects (at varying points of their lifecycles), you must also be a true multi-tasker. You will preferably be a Prince 2 Practitioner or hold an ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis.
