Due to continued expansion, we are currently recruiting for an Onsite Support Technician who will operate off-site at our client?s offices based in the Dublin City Centre.

 

Our client requires a suitably qualified Technician to work in this dual role.  The position is unique in that it rotates between helpdesk duties and hands-on Deskside support.  Ideally suit someone currently working in a helpdesk environment that would like to experience some hands-on activity

 

Requirements:

  • Experience of supporting Win 2000/XP, Office,  Training will be provided on proprietary applications
  • Ideally suit someone currently working in a helpdesk environment or a similar onsite role
  • At least 1 years experience working on an IT Helpdesk or similar role

 

Role:

§         Part of a team of 3 onsite Helpdesk/Deskside Support Engineers.

§         Possible requirement to provide the delivery, installation and repairs on personal computers, servers and appropriate peripherals for all our clients

  • When not required on the helpdesk, you may be required to assist in problem solving outstanding issues and the research of relevant developments within the industry
  • Achieve as much knowledge in the popular operating systems, applications as is deemed necessary to assist Tomorrows World?s clients.  The company will where necessary make available appropriate training
  • Respond quickly, efficiently to queries and problems from all of the company?s clients

We recently moved to new high specification headquarters at Centrepoint Business Park, Dublin 12, which will act as a platform for further growth and expansion of the company.  The majority of our 65 employees are based in Dublin; however, we also have service locations in Cork, Limerick, Galway, Athlone, Waterford and Donegal.

 

Training & Development

We place a very strong emphasis on the training of our Engineers and Technicians.  We conduct in-house training on a weekly basis and formal training courses with all leading hardware and software manufacturers are continually provided to our Engineers and Technicians. Additionally, all new Engineers and Technicians attend an induction course on our procedures and codes of conduct. Tomorrow?s World also contributes fully towards third-level education.
