Server / Hardware / Network Support - Field Service
Salary up to ?28k - ?35k DOE
Dublin-Based

Technical Ability:

*4 - 5 years Server / Hardware / Network Support in a client-facing environment.

*TCP/IP / LAN / WAN technologies. Troubleshooting server/desktop/networking issues.
*SCSI, SAS, SATA, IDE Drive and RAID technologies
*Server and desktop operating systems (Primarily Windows based, with some Linux)
*Experienced working on Dell/HP/IBM hardware support (NOT telephone based).
*SAN experience (full training will be provided to Improve on this)
*Knowledge and experience of Tape Backup software and Tape Drive technologies.
*Server Racking / Cable management experience essential
*Anti Virus Deployment and support experience
*Working Knowledge of firewalls and routers
*Good working knowledge of networking - Cisco / Nortel


Personal Skills:

*Full Clean Drivers License
*People Skills - Good interpersonal skills, Customer focused
*Ability to service customers in a 24/7 Rota


Qualifications:

*Ideal candidates will be experienced / certified engineers on Microsoft and Dell hardware.

*Linux certification preferred but not essential
*A+ / Network + Preferred
