Site Manager (Japanese Knotweed)

Due to a recent increase in workload we are seeking a reliable, self motivated individual for the position of Site / Project Manager reporting to the Managing Director.  Experience is not necessarily required but is preferable.  Any candidate must be able to demonstrate the following abilities;

• work well within a team and other colleagues / sub contractors
• manage costs and income as part of a project
• plan works, arrange and manage plant, machinery and labour on site
• willingness to occasionally work away from home
• good communicator in written and verbal skills
• good computer skills in all microsoft applications
• problem solver and lateral thinker
• maintain client relationships
• full driving licence

Job Role

Multi-disciplinary Environmental and Management Consultancy with three offices across the country.  Successful candidate will be surveying property and construction sites for the presence of Japanese Knotweed / other invasive plants and predominantly managing the treatment and works involved in removing the material from site.  Project values range form £5k to £250K and take place throughout the country but predominantly in the North West of England. 

The role will also involve the development of quotes and costs, preparation of documentation to commence works on site, ordering of plant and machinery, the day to day management of remediation works, client liaison, management of costs, raising of invoices and the production of reports.  The role will involve approximately 40% office time and 60% site works.
