Background

Accountabilities

· To ensure monthly programme progress reports are produced for key projects appropriate for Executive according to agreed timescales

· To ensure key information received from the business relating to key programmes is received on a timely basis and in correct format

· Proactively analyse data, look for trends and issues, producing reports to alert Executive with recommendations for action to improve programme delivery

· Define and develop all regular reports and ensure continual improvements are made

· Automate production of reports using suitable tool (e.g. Clarity)

· Trigger project assurance reviews where appropriate

· Monitor financial spend against key milestones for projects over £2m Op Cos and £1m SS, working with Finance for key data

· Supporting the other functions within CPOS as when deemed necessary

Measures

· All projects reporting in a timely and consistent manner and to agreed quality standards

· Management receive targeted summary reports in line with defined deadlines

· Problems are detected early and project assurance reviews arranged which will result in corrective action being taken with minimum risk to the project

· Positive feedback from Executives on information received.

· No surprise for Sponsors

· Factually accurate reports
