1.Purpose of the Position
· Maintain a world-class, technologically up to date IT environment, with 100% uptime, providing service excellence to the business in all projects and support.
2.Major Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
· Strategically direct and manage the IT team (Development, Business Intelligience and Infrastructure) to achieve business targets and overall strategic goals set.
· Ensure effective planning and management of IT processes.
· Assist and lead in the development of strategies and processes within the department.
· Control the effective and efficient provision of IT services across the business ensuring high quality of service and output.
· Develop and manage the IT budget.
· Manage people, performance issues, disciplinary measures and evaluation of team.
· This role will be responsible for the development of plans and programmes and driving these internally and externally to support business goals and objectives
· Ensure IT objectives are met and all business is driven to achievement of those objectives.
· Ensure projects are launched on time and within budget.
· Maintaining one unified system locally and globally (in the near future).
· Managing expectations of internal customers.
· Overseeing the development of software and making sure the process runs smoothly.
· Maintaining and developing the Genisys architecture strategy to ensure the enhancement and proficiency of the business in all relevant modules.
3. Critical Success Factors of the Job:

| · Tertiary level degree in IT. · Experience running an IT Software company advantageous. · Software development experience, strategy setting and vision on ONE particular software program ? management and maintenance thereof. · Costing strategy experience.
| 7-8 years working experience With 3yrs experience in a senior management role.
