We currently have a vacancy for a Business Development Manager in our convenience division, based at Egham, Surrey. This highly effective team thrives in an entrepreneurial culture, where responsibility and flexibility are key attributes. The category has a wide range of customers with which the team develop close relationships.

The Business Development Manager will grow and develop our Tesco non-branded category, through strong commercial awareness, enhanced profitability and mutually beneficial relationships.

Main responsibilities will include:

* Set and achieve budgeted targets for Tesco account
* Develop strong commercial and cross functional relationships with key Tesco stakeholders
* Develop, manage, and implement promotional calendar with Tesco including pre and post analysis ensuring growth and profitability targets are achieved
* Develop and drive a 3 year Tesco growth strategy for the category
* Work closely with Customer Marketing and NPD to deliver category insight, and with operational and buying functions to continuously monitor business profitability
* Deliver forecasting reports for the business from an operational and financial perspective

You will have a strong in Business Development for a major FMCG retailer, preferably gained within the Food industry. Your advanced communication and negotiation skills, together with your ability to influence profitability and year on year growth, will ensure that you have the drive to succeed in a competitive market.
