Senior Consultant - S1000D Business

As a Senior S1000D Business Consultant you will have responsibility for assuring the effective delivery of a complex suite of cross functional S1000D services. You will perform the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) for S1000D supporting pre-Sales, Global Services, PTC partners and Tech Support delivery within the S1000D domain. You will provide cross functional co-ordination to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to S1000D business delivery across the world.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Recognized by internal and external customers as a S1000D Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Ensure operational consistency for the delivery of S1000D and other associated Integrated Logistics Support specifications in customer facing operations cross functionally.
• Provide professional insight and make contributions for business development and revenue growth.
• Delivers training for both internal and external customers.
• Supports customers in the resolution of technical queries and problems.
• Inputs to the S1000D Cross-Functional Team component of the Software Engineering Process.  
• Understands and can articulate the subtleties and complexities of integrating PTC products and solutions.
• Develops and nurtures multi-level relationships with customers and cross-functional colleagues.
• Mentors and supports the professional development of consultants.

Required Skills and Experience:

·         Bachelors or Masters Degree preferably in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or similar.

·         4 ? 7 years service within the technical publications / S1000D domain with some experience of product development, consulting, technical support. 

·         Solid knowledge of Electronic Documentation applications in the S1000D domain with an understanding of the wider Integrated Logistics Support processes and tools.

·         Previous experience in a technical leadership role.

·         Some  experience of the IT industry.

·         Flexibility to travel on client sites all over the country, and potentially throughout Europe

·         The ability to work on your own initiative
