Rail Planners (P3- P6)

Our clients have built a reputation for producing exceptional solutions and consultancy services which include, GRIP 1-5 feasibilities, outline, design and detailed design to a number of Rail projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to an increase in their workload they are seeking a passionate P6 / P3 Planners to join their Rail team in London to work on station remodelling and track improvements projects.

They are looking for candidates who have planning experience, specifically within the rail sector, who are fully conversant with Primavera P3 and a good working knowledge of P6.

You will have a minimum of 7 years experience in the planning services of major construction projects across multi-disciplinary projects; a thorough grounding in all types of planning techniques; a minimum of 3 years experience in operating computer based project control systems (Primavera 3 and 3e) and Senior Planners will have a good knowledge of P6; a sound understanding of the CDM Regulations, specifically the designers' requirements and knowledge of major Rail projects.

The role will have you co-ordinating all engineering functions in order to maintain and control all general and cross-functional requirements.  You will provide regular reporting on programme, resources and cost issues along with preparation and upkeep of all programmes.  You will need to be an excellent communicator and company representative as you will be liaising with clients as appropriate.
