Chief Information Officer

POSITION SCOPE AND PURPOSE:

IT Staffing Inc., LLC is conducting a confidential search for a publically traded strategic client.  Client Company is a global leader in high technology sales and manufacturing, including continuous and discrete manufacturing.  With annual sales in excess of $1B.  Company operates in a dozen countries spread across USA, Europe and Asia.

The Chief Information Officer position will report directly to the President of the Company.  The successful candidate will oversee Information Technology Operations globally.  The IT team consists of geographically concentrated professionals in the US, UK and Europe. 

The Chief Information Officer will provide leadership in Enterprise wide systems development, migration from older ERP systems to a new global platform, telecommunications, applied technology, technical services, data center operations and information technology strategy.  This critical position will be responsible for creating a seamless information technology function with operations spread over multiple geographic locations. This includes the assessment and application of existing and new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness, development and vetting of preferred technology vendors, consultants, 3rd party service providers, contract negotiations and performance monitoring.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related experience required.  Master?s degree in Business Administration, a plus.

WORK LOCATION:

The work location for this position is in Northern London, UK. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Fifteen years of information technology experience with a minimum of five years of experience as Chief Information Officer.   
• Must have experience managing IT operations in a complex multi national manufacturing organization. 

·         Accomplished technology executive with proven experience in leading the following; Enterprise wide systems development, migrating data from legacy ERP systems to new global platforms, telecommunications, applied technology, technical services, data center operations and information technology strategy.

·         Ability to build and streamline global processes/teams and drive efficiencies and improvement through technology assessment and evaluation. 

• Must have excellent skills / experience in program and project management with a proven track record of delivering significant implementations on-time, on-budget and on-specification.
• Must be organized and proficient with Enterprise wide project management, particularly Microsoft Dynamics AX and potentially Oracle.
• Strong leadership skills with expertise in developing highly motivated and effective IT teams.
• Must have proven skills in selection, and management of 3rd party IT service providers and the selection and cost effective management of external IT consultants.
