Software Engineer, VB6, C#, VB.NET

My client is a rapidly expanding mobile services and content business. This role is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining the company's core IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and SMS systems. experience in IVR and SMS Systems is not mandatory, we need excellent VB6, SQL  C# and VB.NET.

Proven Microsoft Developer:
Visual Studio 2005/2008
C#
Visual Basic .NET
VB6
SQL Server 2000/2005
Transact-SQL (stored procedures, triggers, UDFs)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
An ability to devise, create and manage complex solutions;
Excellent oral and written communication skills
2 years experience in a similar or relevant role

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Experience of SMS systems
Experience of IVR systems
A knowledge of contemporary Mobile, SMS, MMS technologies
Experience with Eclipse IDE

Duties
Developing and enhancing the company's core Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems
Developing and enhancing the company's core SMS systems (.NET development)
Producing technical documentation and specifications
Troubleshooting problems and fixing defects
Providing support to internal and external customers
Testing work and the work of colleagues
Liaising with third party network operators and aggregrators
Querying data and producing management reports
