Our client requires a 3rd Line Technical Support Analyst to work on a busy helpdesk to delivering technical support to both clients and 2nd line colleagues. This will be done via desk to desk, the telephone and using remote access software to our client.

3rd Line Technical Support Analyst Role:

- Resolve IT support issues logged on the helpdesk system via the telephone and using remote access software
- Keep the customers up to date with the progress of their calls

The 3rd Line Technical Support Analyst must be a self motivated individual with superb communication skills who is very well presented as they will be an ambassador for the company. You need to be a calm and assured person who works well under pressure and to tight deadlines with the ability to work as part of a team and provide professional technical support to our customers at all times

Ideally you will have achieved an up to date MCSE qualification. You will have experience of configuring Microsoft server products (Windows 2003 Server, Exchange 2003 and Terminal Services). You will have extremely good knowledge of TCP/IP, Wide Area Networking and Local Area Network setup (including routers, switches and VLAN's).


3rd Line Technical Support Analyst Candidate:

- Proven experience in a busy helpdesk environment
- Experience of configuring Microsoft server products (Windows 2003 Server, Exchange 2003 and Terminal Services)
- Extremely good knowledge of TCP/IP, Wide Area Networking and Local Area Network setup (including routers, switches and VLAN's)
- Client facing experience and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Relevant, up to date IT related qualifications
- Microsoft accredited qualifications


Salary: GBP26000 - GBP30000
