Solutions Architect with Finance and Tachnology

A market-leading tier 1 investment bank, which is in the middle of an extremely large period of business and finance transformation, is looking for a Solutions Architect. This candidate will hold responsibility for driving through the architectural analysis, reviews and the solutions across the finance architecture book of work. They will work in unison with the Finance IT architect, and hold responsibility for all technical architecture.

This Solutions Architect will bring forth strong investment banking experience within the finance and business change space, along with strong risk management experience within business process and technology issues. Solutions Architect will also demonstrate a sound knowledge of the finance/controlling domain and end-to-end workflow for the banking and trading business. Their experience within change management will focus on the system development lifecycle and project management, with a strong emphasis on the practicality of strategies and architectures required to deliver them.

This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to inherit control of the Solutions Architecture, covering conception, design and set up of innovative and practical architecture and strategies for the entire Finance function across the bank. This role offers a significant impact on all technology and application decisions, particularly in terms of the improvements required to meet strategic objectives, to improve fiancé information flows; gaining more value for investments within technology.
