IT Support Officer

As an I.T Support Officer you will provide I.T Support and have responsibility for support of desktop IT Systems at Fire Service College ( FSC) - Also responsibility for personal PC troubleshooting, support and maintenance of FSC desktop Audio Visual equipment.

It Support Officer will also provide first line AV & I.T technical support and ensure that FSC resources are efficiently deployed.  As IT Support Officer you will also share in responsibility for systems management such as user account creation and maintenance, maintaining the IT Element of the IT Dep't amongst  other duties.

You will be Educated to GSCE level with working knowledge of Audio Visual presentation equipment, basic understanding of network topologies and desire to keep up to date with relevant developments in the IT/AV industry.

Ideally you'll have experience supporting personal computers on a local area netwrok and twelve months experince of Personal Computers and AV Support in a small to medium sized organisation. Also willingness to work towards vendor endorsed qualifications such as:

CompTIA A+

Microsoft Certified Desktop Technician
