Data Coordinator

The Sales Process team converts prospects into customers for the telesales teams by means of marketing campaigns, creation and supply of sales materials and providing statistical analysis. The Data Coordinator manages and develops data purchasing and the control of data provided to telesales teams for targeted campaigns.

Key duties and responsibilities of the role include:

• Purchasing data from external agencies which is used to target potential new customers
• Obtaining data from internal sources which is used to upsell new products to existing customers
• Creating dialler and direct mail files
• Controlling separation of data for use between sales groups
• Maintaining compliance with all data regulations, ensuring data is as up to date as possible
• Ensuring all suppressions are respected for customers signed up to the telephone preference service (TPS)
• Ensuring all data is acquired and processed in accordance with Data Protection Act 1998 and Unfair Trading Regulations 2008
• Modelling and understanding data
• Development and improvement of all processes

The successful candidate will:

• Be highly numerate, preferably to degree level or equivalent
• Display excellent communication skills
• Be competent in Microsoft office applications (Access, Excel and Word)
• Have the ability to act as an interface between IT and business departments

• Ideally have had exposure to sales and marketing activities and/or have an analytical>

• Be capable of working to tight deadlines
• Be comfortable working alone and as part of a team
