Senior Support Workers - Relief

Job Description

We have vacancies for Relief Senior Support Workers at our Huntingdon service in the town centre.

Hourly Rate £7.34 to £8.29.   The hours are flexible and will be negotiated at interview or according to the weekly rota. Full training for Relief staff is provided, Other Relief staff benefits include:
? Pro-rata Holiday Pay based on 28 days per annum.

Responsibilities

You will be required to support, on a daily basis the people we support and understand their needs and requirements. You will be required to understand the what is important to and important for the people we support which have been established as the following;

 Listen to us and support us to have a voice and be heard, whether we can speak or not 

 Communicate with us in ways we understand so we can make decisions 

 Support us to try out new things 

 Support us to be a part of the community

Work as part of a team

Make sure that your support of us is organised in a way that ensures we get what we need 

Help us work out what we could do (which we might not have done before) safely Figure out with us what goes well and what doesn?t and what needs to change

Keep records and paperwork up to date and accurate

Be professional when you talk to our friends, family or other people who are important to us
