Job Description
United Response supports Adults with a Learning Disability, Physical Disability and mental health needs to live their lives to the full, taking part in the activities of their choosing and promoting independence.
We currently have a vacancy for a Team Manager within the Wigan Service. You will lead a staff team of 12 and assist the Service Manager to provide the best possible service for the people we support.
The salary range is between £17,895 - £23159

Requirements
To lead and motivate a staff team to enable the people we support to live a rich and full life. Skills Needed Effective Team Management Good Listening Skills Good Planning Skills Confident Patient and Supportive but able to give clear direction to staff Good sense of humour is essential In addition, the people we support have specified the following qualities and skills "Help me be independant" "Support me to go to work and enjoy my activities" "Liaise with my Parents and other Agencies"
"Make sure I always have enough staff" Ideally, shared interests would be among the following Aromatherapy and other relaxing activities Horse riding Socialising Discos Fashion Fishing Concerts Going to the Pub Chatting about the good old days Gardening
