The emphasis is on accessibility and value for money. Their extensive range of discounted products changes with new deliveries every week, creating an exciting retail atmosphere. They are currently looking for a driven Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Manager to join the team.
Job Role - Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Manager:

You'll develop your staff to help you meet your targets. And your motivation and drive will inspire everyone around you. Your key responsibilities will be to assist the store manager to:
- Actively driving sales
- Proactive understanding your local market
- Tailoring your store and product to meet you local market needs
- Leading and directing your team to achieve company objectives
- Ensure strong merchandising planning and execution
- Effective product delivery management and delegation
- Ensure all aspects of loss prevention are understood by staff
- Maintain 2 way communication between staff and senior management
- Staff budget control
- Maintain high level of staff performance
- Staff development and progression
Key Attributes - Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Manager:
As an Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Manager, it is essential that you have previous experience gained in a management / supervisory role, preferably in a volume retailer, and have a good understanding of People Management and Merchandising. You will also have:
- Experience in leading and motivating staff
- Strong communication / customer service / organisational skills
- Ability to deal with pressurised situations
- Capable of delegating and leading
- Excellent track record of achievement: maximise sales and achieve/surpass targets
