Your main responsibilities will be the software engineering of the interactive software products in the geological and petrophysical arenas so a previous track record in this area is especially desirable. You will be involved in the full development life-cycle which includes: requirements gathering/problem solving, solution design, unit testing, technical support and a true dedication to learn new skills is particularly important as is the ability to mentor others where necessary.

The core skills for this role:

.Net (e.g. C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET)
XML
SQL, SQL Server, Oracle (Relational Databases)
Delphi/Pascal would be a particular advantage
Excellent communication skills

This role involves signal processing, telemetry and data analysis so having a in scientific databases is essential.
