Construction Project Manager - Offshore, Perm, South West, £Excellent Salary + Benefits

Yet another fantastic opportunity for ERG! My client, a market leader in the energy / power arena, is looking to the market for a number of specialist consultants. On this occasion they are actively seeking a CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER to join a major Renewable Energy programme. Hailing from an engineering you will have a minimum 4 years Project Management experience including engineering inputs at all stages: Development, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning, as well as experience of SUBSEA CABLE installation.

At this level you will obviously be expected to demonstrate superb communication skills both verbally and written, along with excellent contract negotiations, and tender management experience.  You would also be working very closely with 3rd party?s suppliers and stakeholders so this experience is essential.

This is an exciting role where you will be managing a number of Site Managers and key members of the Offshore Site team therefore any offshore experience is highly advantageous.

Ideally you will have an understanding of the project development process (resource assessment, conceptual design, EIA and planning, grid connections, site infrastructure etc).  Knowledge of other renewable and conventional power technologies would be a distinct advantage as would knowledge of UK Health and Safety Legislation. This is a high profile role where you will need to ensure that any technical or commercial risks are and mitigated at an early stage.

This role requires a reliable, self-motivated, polite and articulate individual, able to communicate with both company and customer personnel at all levels.
