The Role - Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• 1st / 2nd Line Support ? to receive, assess, fix or escalate clients? issues ? issues received by verbal communication, telephone and or support email. Issues may be resolved via telephone advice, remote access or onsite support.
• Installation and maintenance of computer workstation hardware, software applications and associated peripherals
• Assist in or take forward the configuring and setting up new and existing projects
• Promote, seek and gain additional support contracts
• Create company manuals and reports for customer sites

The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience of working in a Desktop Support environment
• Must have A+, CCNA, MCSE, or any other IT qualifications 
• Experience with Windows Server 2000, 2003, SBS, Exchange and SQL Server
• Any exposure to Linux would also be useful. Win XP, MS Office, Citrix, VPN
• Knowledge of Dell PC and Server products Cisco Netware Sage DSL and WAN technologies
