Project Planner - Engineering / Utilities

Project Planner required by our multinational Energy / Utilities client. Reporting into the Project Management team, you will be responsible for drafting and developing all aspects of the planning process for major engineering and Utilities developments.

As an experienced Project Planner who has come from a in Engineering, Utilities or Construction, you will be able to demonstrate your experience of creating and developing project plans for large scale projects. You will work closely with the project teams to monitor progress and agree resource allocation / timescales. You will have an excellent working knowledge of planning processes such as the production of Work Breakdown Structures, Risk Management and Forecast development / analysis. You will produce regular progress reports for the Project Management team. As such, constant liaison with key stakeholders such as engineering teams and subcontractors will be required. Due to the nature of the role a good working knowledge of Primavera will be highly beneficial.

Although our client is based in the north west, major project sites could be based anywhere in the UK or Europe. It is therefore essential that candidates are flexible in terms of potential location. The nature of this assignment also means that applications from permanent and contract staff will be considered.
