This established hire company are looking for an experienced hire manager to take this established network of depots to the next stage of development. Our client provides a broad range of equipment to an extremely diverse customer base, including Construction, Civil Engineering, Petrochemical, Local Authorities and Commercial Premises.
The Role
To assist the regional manager in leading, developing and motivating a team of depot managers within a designated territory. In doing so implementing measures, processes and new initiatives to maximise its continued success and deliver cost effective solutions, to develop the growth and profitability of the business
- To generate profitable business for the company.
- To assume area responsibility and accountability for all sales, service and administration issues within the group, and provide solutions via delegation or personal input.
- Review and research each branch, its account and subsidiaries, to maximise its potential revenues for specialist equipment.
- Interface with the sales force to ensure appropriate local contact with the customer?s sites or regional offices.
- Liase with the customer and operations to ensure that effective procedures are in place.
- Work closely with other members of the group to ensure the overall success of the accounts.
The Candidate
The desired candidate must have relevant experience of working within the hire Sector with Previous experience of managing multi depot operations. They are required to be a self-starter and come from an operational and business development You will be highly motivated and will be able to achieve under pressure. The Ability to liaise and negotiate with suppliers for capital equipment, spares & consumables is also desired.
