Account Director reporting to the Director of FM Operations

Our Client has a long history of success, providing a broad range of business services to commercial and public sector clients in the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East.

This opportunity is based in London, managing the account of a high profile client in the Banking sector

Main purpose of the role

- To ensure the long term success of the Client's relationship with Key Client

- To optimise the financial return from the delivery of excellent FM services that delight our customers, whilst maintaining a safe and sustainable working environment, and developing the skills and capabilities of Client's people.

Person specification summary

- Experienced senior manager with strong FM credentials - you will have a Hard Services with Financial Services experience

- Strong leadership presence, with proven track record of delivering results in a corporate or Public Sector political environment.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to influence outcomes in a professional manner, even in challenging circumstances

- Articulate communicator at all levels, both verbal and, particularly, written

Key Responsibilities

- Managing relationships with Customers to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction

- Managing FM operations to exceed Financial targets in terms of profitability and cash flow, whilst observing good practice and governance

- Managing People to achieve high levels of capability, motivation, retention and attendance

- Manage Clients and Key Clients supply chains to achieve high levels of performance

- Ensuring compliance to all statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as the requirements of Clients Integrated Management Systems as agreed with the Client

- Developing the teams capability and expertise to support an environment of continuous improvement

- Contributing to the Clients' broader business in terms of growth and development of capability

- Responsible for equipment and consumables associated with the contract, including machinery, tools, computer systems and software

- Around £15m P&L responsibility and up to £60m of managed client services spend per annum
