A leading provider of engineering solutions to the airports, logistics, defence, nuclear and thermal power sectors is looking to recruit a Planning Manager within their airports division. This position forms part of the expanding team that operates Heathrow's high tech baggage handling systems. Reporting to the Maintenance Strategy Manager, the role will be based at Heathrow.

Supporting the Baggage Operational Programme - covering projects such as upgrade of T4 baggage systems, re-build of T3, T5 satellite and tunneling work etc - key responsibilities will include providing project programmes, developing cost estimates for delivering projects, and carrying out regular reviews to report on costs and schedule. This will require you to converse effectively with the Project Leaders, Transition Managers and senior contractors within BAA; challenging these people to the good of the projects.

Suitable candidates will be highly organised with extensive programme management experience from within an engineering environment, possess at least 5 years experience of working on multiple projects and be competent in the use of planning tools (preferably MS Project).
