My Dynamics AX / Axapta global client is a world leader in the manufacturing sector with annual revenues in the hundreds of millions of pounds. This multi national company operates in a number of countries spread across four different continents.
This Dynamics AX / Axapta CIO / Chief Information Officer role is a genuine opening with a highly lucrative six figure salary on offer for the right candidate.
The successful CIO / Chief Information Officer will oversee IT Operations in the UK and three other continents as this is where the majority of the IT & Dynamics AX / Axapta team are based.
In this role, one of the CIO / Chief Information Officer's main responsibilities will be to lead the development & implementation of an enterprise wide system as it undergoes a huge migration from its legacy ERP systems to a new Dynamics AX / Axapta / ERP global platform.
The candidate MUST (experience):
* Be currently acting as a CIO / Chief Information Officer or were in this position in one of your recent roles with a large multi national manufacturing firm
* Be a polished IT executive with proven experience in the development (technical expertise not essential), deployment & implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX / Axapta ERP systems (please note that this is essential for the role)
* Have a minimum of 10+ years of IT experience
* Experience & knowledge of managing IT operations in complex multi site manufacturing firms
* Have strong skills & experience in programme and/or project management with a proven track record of delivering major Dynamics AX / Axapta implementations on-time & on-budget.
* Have strong leadership skills with expertise in recruiting & developing highly motivated, skilled & effective IT / Dynamics AX / Axapta teams.
The candidate (education):
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems is required.
* A Master's degree in Business Administration would be seen as a bonus, but not essential.
