2nd Line Desktop Support Analyst
Full time hours 37.5 per week
Central Glasgow location
Covering a varied shift pattern between the hours 7.00-20.00.


Our Client is global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services. Join our team and be responsible for providing excellent service for all Computing and Telephony services for all EY Staff based in the UK

IT TEAM manages and supports the firm's comprehensive range of technology services. The group consists of 4 specialist teams - Service Management (which includes IT Security and Compliance), End-User Services, Business Systems Management and Infrastructure. Together, they are responsible for day-to-day operational performance as well as the implementation of future technology requirements.


Responsibilities:
Providing 2nd line IT technical support to EY internal clients
Accountabilities include:
2nd line IT support to a large user base, responding to and resolving all support calls within agreed service levels to meet or exceed business need.
Travel to other E&Y offices as required
Utilising Windows XP; Lotus Notes; XP Office Professional, and numerous bespoke applications


Person:
Experience in a commercial IT support environment. A broad technical knowledge of standard applications.
Specific knowledge of Windows XP, MS Office 2003, Lotus Notes 6.5, Blackberries.
Working towards an industry standard accreditation ie MCP/MCDST/MCSA/MCSE

- Ability to manage and prioritise workload
