We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Analyst to join a leading retailer at their offices in Manchester.
Role and Responsibilities
- To produce all regular reports accurately and in a timely manner and be able to develop and make suggestions for improvement where necessary
- Maintain and review scorecard and segmentation performance & highlight any issues
- Redevelopment of scorecards and segmentation as and when necessary
- Research and implement if possible new techniques to try to improve current methods of analysis (through new software/techniques etc)
- Be involved with current business projects requiring statistical input
- Produce analysis with conclusions & recommendations for decision support requests as necessary
- To continue to develop knowledge of SQL, SAS and other applications and be aware of new developments that may affect the team
- Assist in training and technical skills of other individuals within the team
- Involvement with current business projects requiring statistical input
- Ability to brief out requests for information and ensure results are produced timely and accurate.
The successful candidate will be degree educated in a numerical / statistical discipline and have excellent communication skills.
Experience
- Previous experience of using statistics in the workplace
- 2 years industry experience
- Experience of using SAS / SQL
- Evidence of project management
- Modelling skills essential, mainly statistics
- Excellent communication / attention to detail.
