Are you a Public Health information analyst looking for your next challenge, if the answer is yes, then read on -
My client is looking to improve information exchange between them and their partners; you will be undertaking in-depth analytical investigation of factors impacting on life expectancy and mortality rates across the jurisdiction.
You will need to be a proven statistical analyst using multivariate techniques; you must be an expert in database skills including Access, SQL and GIS. In addition you will need to be able to manage the communication of complex information in respect of the project both verbal and written. This may include imparting unwelcome news to stakeholders where performance targets have not been met.
Key strengths
Influencing skills, Negotiating skills, proven motivational skills to encourage collaborative working between a number of stakeholders where there may be resistance to change, as such winning hearts and minds is essential.
The candidate will have experience of epidemiological, analytical and statistical research, proven NHS experience particularly working in public health and experience of undertaking strategic performance reports. In addition, being able to use software packages for the manipulation, analysis and presentation of data including mapping and the ability to present complex data in an appropriate and understandable manor verbally and in writing.
