Product Specialist - Travel Industry

One of our leading Clients is currently seeking a Product Specialist to be based in Crawley. This role will be to be the one-stop-shop for information on my clients Web Based solutions ? Web Apps and Web Sites.

You will be required to position the brand as a customer centric organisation and true technology partner to the industry, strengthening awareness of the products and services under your remit.

You will be involved in the definition of Product Strategy for the designated Product Portfolio ? in this case Web based applications and services. The execution of the product roll-out and version migration will also come within your responsibility.

Additionally the and prioritisation of new products, solutions, functionalities or functional enhancements will fall within your remit. Alongside this you will be responsible for ensuring you have in-depth knowledge of the product range, updating and distribution product and solution information and liaising with 3rd Party Suppliers to ensure solutions are developed to client and customer specifications.

This role requires someone with the following experience and knowledge:

·              Travel industry experience

·              Support, Development or Analyst experience within Travel industry software

·              Knowledge of GDS products ? Galileo, Sabre, Worldspan, Amadeus

·              Comfortable presenting to audiences and working with 3rd party suppliers

·              Technical experience ? preferably with development technologies (C# / Java / .NET / PHP etc )
