Business Relationship Manager

Our client is a high profile banking institution looking to recruit a Business Manager to cover the Guildford marketplace in Surrey.
 
Day to day duties will include the management of a portfolio of 200 - 400 local connections in the SME / OMB market, with a turnover to circa£2million. You will also be expected to hit a 'new business target' aimed at attracting new-to-bank customer accounts.
 
Along with ensuring first customer service levels an integral part of the position involves cross selling the banks additional products including credit cards, invoice finance, asset finance, private banking services etc.
 
You may also be required to coach and mentor junior managers within the team.
 
Candidates:

The successful candidate will have previous relationship management experience in a business banking or similar financial services environment, excellent cross-sales experience and proven business development skills.
 
This is a highly targeted sales positions so candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven successful track record within sales.

The ability to prioritise and manage your own diary is essential as you will continually drive and develop portfolio income through the of new business opportunities within the portfolio and the generation of new clients through a referral network
