Position as Project Manager / Analyst Team Leader - Blue-chip

Excellent career opportunity to join this fantastic blue-chip organization in which you will lead a Team of Analysts and drive to deliver projects that improve key business processes across £multi-million systems which rely heavily on numerical / analytical expertise using SQL, VBA, etc.

With a as a Project manager, Senior Analyst (VBA,SQL) or Consultant (e.g. Logica, KPMG, Accenture or any strategy house) you and your team will need to look at business processes and be able to apply high level analytics / Business Intelligence in order to imporve the efficiency of these business critical systems. In addition you will need the intellectual acumen to understand and explain complex concepts simply to the Senior Management team.

These projects tackle highly complex, cross-functional issues that the business has previously been unable to address. The work is high-profile and offers continuous exposure to senior Directors within the group, combined with the opportunity to swiftly deliver significant benefits to the business.

To be considered you will need a good degree in Science, Engineering, Mathematics or another numerical discipline from a top tier University. You will have demonstrable experience of balancing priorities, and successful delivery of objectives, in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.

You will also be able to lead a range of technical and non-technical people, ensuring stakeholders expectations are managed and high priority work is completed quickly. While this is a business, and not an IT role, you should show a strong interest in technology and its uses in delivering operational improvements.

Additional experience with a consultancy (e.g. Accenture, Logica, KPMG, Strategy house, etc) would be a bonus as would experience in supply-chain / retail however this is not essential.
