Hanover IT Recruitment are searching for a Technical Author required to join this rapidly expanding Times Tech 100 Mobile communications company.

With offices in London and New York this organisation has grown to become one of the leading mobile services technology companies in the sector.

As the sole dedicated Technical Author within the organisation you will be responsible for the organisation of existing documentation, gaps and leading efforts to fill them. You will be designing and writing a variety of internal/client-facing technical documents including reference manuals, architectural and technical overviews, user manuals and How To guides.

In addition you will be responsible for proofreading, editing and revising documents written by developers and engineers, as well as assisting the product development team in supporting the company with documentation-related tools.

Successful candidates will have an exceptional education with a degree from a top university and high grades at A Level. You will also need to have had a successful track record of researching and writing high quality technical documentation within a commercial environment.

A knowledge of Web application development will be a major advantage for this role meaning that you have an understanding of HTTP protocols, OO programming, HTML and Wikis.
